Hey pilot, take us to Paris!

Today was a planned travel day to Paris, we got out of Naples pretty early this morning and flew north to Paris. The view of the snow capped Alps and the lakes in the valleys was pretty cool, gave me some ideas for the next trip. We made it to Paris, had the best cab driver ever who was playing chess on his iPhone while driving down the highway and then sang along to every song. We checked in, ate lunch, rested for a bit and then walked a couple blocks to the Eiffel Tower, which is 5 minutes from the hotel. This place is a world different from what we left in Italy, people drive the speed limit, stop for pedestrians, the streets are clean and overall more of in line with what we imagined it would be like. Tomorrow we are going to the Louvre to see the major items and then playing it by ear since it is supposed to rain so our outdoor plans may be limited. I’ll put up the few pictures I took today and hopefully many more tomorrow.
